We help clients navigate conflict with professionalism, neutrality, and a commitment to lasting resolution. Based in Atlanta, Model provides in-person mediation throughout Georgia and virtual sessions nationwide.

Jennifer Krasney, MPH 
Registered Mediator

Jennifer Krasney is the Founder and Principal of Model Mediation. Asa natural mediator with a talent for resolving conflict and fostering productive dialogue, she brings a thoughtful, practical approach to every case.

Before becoming a registered mediator in the state of Georgia, Jennifer built a successful career in management consulting at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she advised on complex projects involving public health strategy and organizational change. She holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Geography from the University of Georgia.

Jennifer’s communication skills, analytical thinking, and real-world experience make her a trusted partner in organizational and private mediation settings.

General Civil Mediation

Completed a 28-hour General Civil Mediation course and a 12-hour practicum approved by the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution – a Georgia Supreme Court Commission. Developed practical skills in conflict resolution, active listening, and negotiation in civil settings.

Emory University

Master of Public Health
Behavioral Sciences

Earned an MPH in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences (BSHES). Training included behavioral and social science theory, culturally informed intervention design, program evaluation, data analysis, and community engagement.

Journalism & Geography

Graduated with BAs in Journalism and Geography. Journalism emphasized clear, ethical communication, while Geography offered tools for understanding people, places, and systems.
